String ToUpperCase(Locale) Method

Description

The variant takes set as a row to be used while converting into upper case. This technique has two variants. The initial variant converts all of the characters in this String to upper case using the rules of the given Locale. This is equivalent to calling toUpperCase(Locale.getDefault()).

Syntax

Here is the syntax of this method:

public String toUpperCase(Locale locale)

Return Value

  • It returns the String, converted to uppercase.

Example

public class Test {

   public static void main(String args[]) {
      String Str = new String("Welcome to Intellinuts.com");

      System.out.print("Return Value :" );
      System.out.println(Str.toUpperCase() );
   }
}
