Description

The Java String concat() process concatenates one string to the conclusion of another character. This method revisits a string with the object of the string bypassed into the process, attached to the end of the string. Parameter: anostr- string to be concatenated at the end of the string.

Syntax

public String concat(String s)

Parameters

Here is the detail of parameters −

  • s − the String that is concatenated to the end of this String.

Return Value

  • This method returns a string that represents the concatenation of this object's characters followed by the string argument's characters.

Example

public class Test {

   public static void main(String args[]) {
      String s = "Strings are immutable";
      s = s.concat(" all the time");
      System.out.println(s);
   }
}
