Characters of 2005

Lucky Brown - Lucky is the head guy of LCP. Upon his death, he willed money to the creation of LCP.com and his Navy Colt to his niece, Lucy.

Lucy Brown - Lucy is known on LCP as ‘andadaughter.’ Lucky’s niece, she appears to be in big horse doo-doo thanks to acquiring the Navy Colt. She works for Brown’s Let It Ride Limo Service (phone: +1-877-768-8147). Currently under arrest.

Robert Brown - Lucky’s brother and Lucy’s cousin (or something. We’re still trying to figure out this family.). He was in pursuit of the Navy Colt because he had a buyer for it. Tried to meet up with Lucy in a graveyard but was shot in the process.

Maurice Pikar - Not The Buyer. This dude’s gotta be bad. The guy who Lucy lost all her money to (referenced in Robert Brown’s blurb) and the guy waiting for Lucy at her apartment. He’s dead now.

Kerry Tucker - Also referred to in this guide and elsewhere as “El Cigaretto” or “Cigarette Man.” A featured killer in the story, Kerry likes to off people with a canoe and a 9mm gun. He may be working in partnership with Don McPherson.

Devon Brown - One of Lucy’s older brothers. Studies penguins in the arctic.

Janet Brown - Also known as “Oneeyedqueen.” Lucy and Devon’s mother.

Paco Cisneros
- Paco’s, well, dead. Though he still shows up on the poker tables from time to time. Ran into Corazon Suarez at a convenience store heist. He was later killed by the dude with a penchant for canoeing (we call him “cigarette”).

Donald (Don) McPherson - one of the unattractive members of LCP law enforcement. Pairs up with Phillip Kim from time to time. Paired up with Kerry.

Trey Muncie - a.k.a. Omar Hakim. Trey’s pal Matt Viet hacks into the cell phone system, creating a blip that ends up in the result of one dead Alex Lieu.

Corazon Suarez - Corazon ran into Paco C. and shot at him in the presence of Clay Sizemore at a convenience store hold-up. Her boyfriend Victor was killed by the same guy who offed Paco.

Richard Brunswick - A Hollywood bigwig agent involved in the production of Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical (yeah, I’m thinking the same thing. Flopparino.) William Shiner’s agent.

Anthony (Tony) Viet - Part of the Eastside Social Club gang, Tony’s a rival of Paco C. His cellphone number is +1-323-924-1638

Matt Viet - a.k.a. WTF616. The crazy dude who hacked into the cell phone network, rendering it impossible for the poor HikerD00d (Alex Lieu) to call 911 when he needed it (bad, Matt. Bad bad Matt.). Recently arrested.

Alex Lieu - a.k.a. hikerd00d (oh no, not the l33t). Went hiking by himself one lovely day, lost cell phone reception, it got dark out, and he was cold and wet. Now he’s just cold in the morgue. Damn you Matt!

William Shiner - Whatchu talkin’ bout, Willis!? Former child actor trying to make himself a new career. Sadly, he’s got a thing for the booze and keeps missing auditions. Client of Richard Brunswick. Wants desperately to make his comeback in Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical (sigh. do these people have no shame?).

Clay Sizemore - a.k.a. The Preacher. One of Lucy’s pals from AA. Stumbled upon her at the cemetary during the shootout that killed Robert Brown (huh. How’d he happen to be there?). Took the Navy Colt when Lucy left it behind and then lied about it (bastard). Was nearly robbed by Paco C. but for the quick shooting wits of Corazon S. Thought later that he should return the gun to Lucy and drove over to her place, just in time to see her getting arrested. Fabulous timing, there, Clay. (moral of the story: lying is bad, mmkay)

Benito Rojas - also goes by Ben. Another of our favorite law enforcement people. Has a lovely file on Matt Viet and might be taking him into custody. Will also be meeting up with McPherson in D.C.

Kink Coover - Real name is Lincoln, somehow prefers Kink (I don’t write it, people. I just report.) This guy’s dead now, too (Killed by Kerry/McPherson). He was the gunman at the cemetary who killed Robert Brown (probably in an attempt to get the Colt). Also hates chatty women who drink his beer. Scratches “kink” into his victims (oh so classy).

Victor Aldridge - Corazon’s boyfriend. Met with Kerry (Cigarette man) in the desert (I feel like I’m writing the synopsis for X-files) where he fell for the ol’ classic “funny place for a canoe” schtick. I just shake my head.

Phillip Kim - Go Go Local Law Enforcement With Big Guns! Pairs up with McPherson from time to time and gives him a ringie-ding on the phone every so often.

Shaylee Kingston - Going by name spelling and looks alone, this might be our street walker, lady of the night, Roxanne, or Hoochie Mama (depending on what your verbal preference is). Apparently connected to both Spider and Vaquero and has a thing for Lesbian Ninjas (maybe it’s the leather and the eyemask).

Spider - Spider’s first information on her profile is a flashback from January 1989 when she was nine and in the UK. Born to a German mother and living with her and Ed (whom they ran away from at 14), she was in the US by age 19. Mum had died a few years ago to Hepatitis C (oops. drug user? We get the impression that Mumsey was a ladeeee of the night as well. I need to read up on my HepC transmissions :P It’s amazing how quickly our undergraduate major falls into oblivion)

Simon Bassi
- A.k.a. Hasochet. Simon appears to be an old friend of Maurice Pikar’s, and perhaps a bit of his dirty deed man. He and Maurice are looking for the gun when Maurice says the gun is about repayment of an old debt. Dun dun DUUUUUN.

Vaquero - I love how all the pimps and hos only have one name ;D Crack me up. Vaquero appears to be Shaylee’s and Spider’s pimp o’ good lovin (and sometimes some shakin’).

Samuel Ligaya
- a friend of Matt Viet and a member of the Eastside Social Club (also affectionately referred to as the ESC. heh heh. ESCAPE. omg, the puns. they flow like wine). Recently fell for the old “funny place for a canoe” line.

Harry Nakagawa - A cop currently on the books with the Eastside Social Club’s rival gang, Mi Casa. Has a thing for fish tacos.

Shawn Clevarias - A member of the Mi Casa gang. Goes by the name “Architect.”

Lothar Barbel - An anti-semite Civil War Buff (bad bad mix). Chairman of the Liberty Calls. His Liberty Calls phone number was found in Richard Brown’s apartment. Looks like we have our gun buyer.

Stan Corbet - William Shiner’s doorman

Johnny Deuces - Crappy dude who’s working for someone and is in pursuit of Lucy and the Navy Colt.

Toller Fazio - A pawn shop owner who comes across the Navy Colt for $75. Has ties to Anthony Viet.

Sarah Trinh - The late Tony Viet’s girlfriend. Has a drinking and drug problem. Also might be mentally unstable, like most idiot girls.

Carlos Delaje - A Mi Casa member working with Spider and Don McPherson. Killed Johnny Deuces. Has a big ass fro.
